The Challenge
Cube Chemistry started their channel 2 years ago and while they were making consistent content, the first 5 months of the channel was a major challenge. Like most new creators, they had troubles with getting the growth and engagement they desired, and they specifically had troubles with the parts of the thumbnails and the titles and appealing to our specific audience.
The Turning Point
They started with a vidIQ coach Paul in September of 2024 and they couldn't be happier with where their channel is currently. From September to February of 2025, they spent a lot of time with Paul optimizing titles and thumbnails and had their first video outliers during this time. The momentum has only continued in 2025, where they went from 3K subscribers to over 28K subscribers in the Spring and they have continued to grow to almost 45k subscribers as of November 2025. Here are the main things they have focused on:
- Specializing in Your Niche: They primarily focus on and posting about the Periodic Table of Elements, showing their audience they are experts in their specific niche.
- Improve Packaging: Upgrading their titles, thumbnails, and hooks with help from Paul were the major difference-maker to their 14x growth.
